Ray Henderson Ross

Obituary: Ray Henderson Ross, 74, died Tuesday October 2, 2012. Mr. Ross was born October 25, 1937 in Cabarrus County to the late Paul Henderson Ross and Audie Crayton Ross. He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Faye Ross who died May 26, 2012. Ray was a retired truck driver and he was a member of Cold Springs United Methodist Church. Survivors include his son, James Ray Ross (Cindy) of Concord; two daughters, Teresa Furr (Dennis) of Mt. Pleasant, and Lori J. Ross of Concord; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a brother, Luther Ross of Monroe; and two sisters Betty Harwood of Mt. Pleasant and Geraldine Shoaf of Florida. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 500 Hospice Lane Kannapolis, NC 28081.
