Ray Shinn

Obituary: Ray Hartsell Shinn, Jr., 69, of Kannapolis passed away on October 18, 2017. He was born October 18, 1948 in Cabarrus County, a son of the late Ray H. Shinn, Sr. and Annie Coleen Ward Shinn. Ray was a retired veteran of the US Marines Corp and the US Army. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Monday, October 23, 2017 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the National Cemetery in Salisbury at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends from 11 to 12 prior at Whitley's. He is survived by his son, Brandon Shinn and Kimberly Banks, his daughter, Natascha Shinn, 4 grandchildren, Hailey, Kaidon, Jayson, Dallas and two brothers, Jody and Scott Shinn.
