Obituary: Rayma Freeze Sechler, 76, passed away Monday afternoon, March 11, 2019, at CHS-NorthEast Medical Center, following a period of declining health. Born November 29, 1942 in Cabarrus County, she was a daughter of the late John Daniel "Dan" Freeze and Myrtle Lumsden Freeze. Rayma was a graduate of A.L. Brown high and had attended business college. With a true servant's heart, Mrs. Sechler selflessly loved to serve and help others; always putting other's needs before her own. The story of her life would be incomplete without including her passionate, strong love for and the following of Yeshua, her Messiah. A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Mrs. Sechler will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Family members left to cherish her memory include her husband of 57 years, Ralph Sechler, Jr.; her children, Scott Sechler, Lori Robinson and husband, Barry, and Randall Sechler; her sister, Danette Baker; her grandchildren, Caden and Tyler Sechler, and Brad, Aaron and Jared Rooks; her great-grandchildren, Kinley, Sophie, Lincoln, Trenton and Jaxon Rooks. Graveside services to remember and celebrate the life of Mrs. Sechler will begin at 12 noon, Wednesday, March 13th at Carolina Memorial Park, with Rabbi David Liebe officiating. The family and friends will meet at Whitley's Funeral Home at 11:30 am Wednesday and will go in procession to the cemetery. Memorials may be made in Mrs. Sechler's name to the donor's choice.
