Obituary: Diane Broadway, 67, of Kannapolis passed away, Monday, February 15, 2016 at Tucker Hospice House. She was born November 7, 1947 in Cabarrus Co. to the late Bruce McKnight Brown and Willene Lefler Tarlton. Diane loved serving others, especially with cooking and serving meals, she had a big heart and cared for all her friends and family, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Those left to cherish her memory, her husband Steve Broadway, two sons Waylan Dabbs and his wife Regena, Matt Broadway and his wife Tou, five grandchildren; Joshua McKnight, Jordan McKnight, Leah Hines, and twins Ty and Van Broadway, two great grandchildren Emery McKnight and Derek McKnight, one brother Tony Brown. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00PM Thursday (Feb. 18) at Piedmont Baptist Church. Funeral service will be at 11:00AM Friday (Feb. 19) at Piedmont Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Edwards officiating, burial will follow at West Lawn Cemetery.
