Reese Gale Bradley

Obituary: Reese Gale Bradley, Jr, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at his residence. Born October 10, 1956 in Rowan County he was the son of late Reese Gale Bradley Sr and the late Doris Demby Bradley. Reese was a devoted husband and father, and a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He graduated from South Rowan High School and CPCC. He served in the Navy for five years and went to Army National guard where he obtained rank of captain. He loved spending time with family, and helping others. He was active in Boy Scouts for over 27 years. He held various positions including scout master. He enjoyed working with the boys and helped many earn Eagle Scout. Preceding him in death were his daughter Aprille Lynn Bradley, March 1991; father, Reese Gale Bradley, Sr., April 2008; mother, Doris Demby Bradley, September 2010; and a brother, Aaron Thad Bradley in April 1998. Survivors include his wife, Robin Hinson Bradley, one son, Jon Bradley of Salisbury, and 11 brothers and sisters: Sabrina Latham, Wanda Lemmons, Grant Bradley, Mark Bradley, Brian Bradley, Alicia Britt, Adam Bradley, Matthew Bradley, Kelly Bradley, Patrick Bradley, and Josh Bradley. Visitation: 6-8:00 PM - Friday May 31st at Whitley's Funeral Home; and at other times the family will be at the residence. Service: 2:00 pm - Saturday, June 1st, 2013 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1255 Julian Road, Salisbury. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
