Regina Kaye Foster

Obituary: Kannapolis, NC- Regina Kaye Foster, age 56, died Friday, September 14, 2012 at CMC-NorthEast, Concord, NC after a period of declining health. She was born October 11, 1956 in Orange County, California, the daughter of Faye Plyler Freeze and the late Henry Reid Tucker. She attended Northwest Cabarrus High School. Regina was employed as a dietary manager having worked at several nursing homes including Big Elm Retirement Center over the years. She was a member of Gospel Lighthouse Church, China Grove, NC where she served as a greeter, member of the bereavement committee, fellowship committee, and was graphic designer for different projects of the church. As an artist she enjoyed drawing sunflowers and desert landscapes. Her family fondly remembers her love of culinary arts and cooking. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Whitley's Funeral Home main Chapel, Kannapolis, NC officiated by Rev. Joel Ervin. Burial will be at a later date. The family will receive friends from 10:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service. Survivors in addition to her mother and step-father, Jerry Freeze include her step-mother, Shirley Tucker of Concord, NC; her daughter, Stephanie Lindsay & husband, Matthew of Kannapolis, NC; a son, Jason Foster of Concord, NC; and one brother; four sisters; and three grandchildren.
