Regina Ann Burton Sloop, 61, of Kannapolis went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at her residence following a period of declining health.
Regina was born January 11, 1960 in Logan Co. W.Va. a daughter of the late Leonard Logan Burton and Bonnie Virginia Gartin Burton. She was also preceded in death by her husband William Allison Sloop on February 11, 2001. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
She was of the Pentecostal Faith. In earlier life she was a biscuit maker at Hardee’s and worked at Magla Company.
She was a loving woman who was always helping others.
There will be no public service.
Family members left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Amanda Jenkins and husband Sherman of Kannapolis, and Gina Grogan and husband Bryan of Indian Land, S.C. , one son, Terry Burton of Kannapolis, two sisters, Jodi Wensil and husband Roger of Kannapolis, and Ginger Myers and husband Jerry of Ocala, Fa.
Also surviving is a niece, Julie Nystrand of Jacksonville, Fa. And a nephew Stephen Robinson of Huntington, W. Va. along with numerous nieces and nephews.
The family ask that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Regina’s go fund me page.
