Rhonda Sumrall Branyon

Obituary: Rhonda Sumrall Branyon, 55, of 2567 Old Ashworth Ln., Concord, NC died at her home on Thursday, November 21, 2013. Death was unexpected. Rhonda was born on Dec. 26, 1958 in Greenville Co., SC, the daughter of Dorothy Jean Mitchell Sumrall and the late Joseph Henry Sumrall. In addition to her mother, Rhonda is survived by her husband, Gene Branyon of the home; a daughter, Hailey Branyon of Concord and a grandson, Cooper Wood also of Concord. Rhonda is also survived by a sister, Debra Sumrall Maguire and brother-in-law, Charles Robert Maguire of Charleston, SC. The funeral for Mrs. Branyon was held at 8:00 p.m., Saturday night at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel and was conducted by Rev. Noah LaCoursiere. Burial will take place today at 1:00 p.m., at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. The family received friends at the funeral home last night before the service.
