Rhonda Lee Tharp

Rhonda Lee Tharp, 51 of Jacksonville, Fl. and formerly of Concord went to be with the Lord on May 24, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Rhonda was born August 26, 1968 in Mecklenburg County, NC, a daughter of Charlotte and Ken Snodgrass of Concord.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lelia McGraw and husband Ronald McGraw Sr., and her paternal grandparents Phillip Viviano and wife Jewell.

Survivors in addition to her parents are Gordon Rawlyk, her devoted life partner and best friend of Jacksonville, a sister, Audrey Behrens (Nate) of Kannapolis, an aunt, Norma Floyd (James) of Midland, uncle, Ron McGraw, Jr.(Joy) of Concord, a cousin Isaac Personette of Midland and her beloved cat Clyde.

Rhonda was retired from Bank of America where she was a customer service representive. She was an animal lover, enjoyed nature, reading books, was a technology wiz. She loved her family and was a spiritual person.

A private graveside service will be held for Rhonda.

The family will accept flowers but also requests memorials be made to the Humane Society of   Concord and Greater Cabarrus County, 2010 Wilshire Ct SW, Concord, NC 28025.
