Richard Bolick

Obituary: Bolick, Richard Osborne Kannapolis, NC- Richard Osborne Bolick, age 82, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at his home. He was born October 31, 1934 in Catawba County, NC, the son of the late James Franklin Bolick and Janie Alberta Brewer Bolick. Richard was employed with the former K-Town Furniture, Kannapolis, NC for many years until his retirement in 1998. He had been a member of Shadybrook Baptist Church, Kannapolis, NC since moving back to live in Kannapolis. He had also lived in Fayetteville, NC for some time in earlier years. Richard was also a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps having served during the Korean Conflict. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Gray Bass Bolick; and a sister, Barbara Ann Bolick. There will be no funeral services. Survivors include his two daughters, Jamie L. Auten of Concord, NC and Rebecca A. Burnett of Charlotte, NC; four grandchildren, Josh Auten, Jake Auten, Anthony Burnett, and Christopher Burnett; and one sister, Doris Ann Roberts of Kannapolis, NC.
