Richard L. Lazarus

Obituary: Sherrills Ford, NC- Richard L. Lazarus, age 90, passed away at Hospice of Catawba Valley, Newton, NC. He was born September 3, 1920 in Erie County, NC, the son of the late Francis J. Lazarus and Mary G. Burns Lazarus. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Jean Frances Dwornik, who died November 11, 2010. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 12:00 P.M. Saturday, March 5, 2011 at St. James the Great Catholic Church, Concord, NC officiated by Rev. Joseph Dionne, C.S.s.R. Interment will be a private service at the convenience of the family at St. James Catholic Church Cemetery, Concord, NC. Survivors include three sons, Richard T. Lazarus & wife, Nancy Harville of Spencer, NY, William R. Lazarus & wife, Mary Theresa of Sherrills Ford, NC, and Michael J.
