Rickey Wayne Hunsucker

Obituary: Rickey Wayne Hunsucker, 51, of 103 Thunder Rd., China Grove, NC, died at his home on Thursday, September 23, 2010. Death was unexpected. Mr. Hunsucker was born on November 8, 2010 in Cabarrus Co., the son of the late Edward Wayne Hunsucker and the late Pansie Elizabeth Bost Hunsucker. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, a member of Eastwood Baptist Ch. and was a truck driver for M.B.M. He loved hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Julie Hinson Hunsucker of the home, 2 sons; Daniel Honeycutt & wife, Morgan of Zephyrhills, FL and Nathan Hunsucker of the home, 2 daughters; Miranda Lambert & husband, Chris of Kannapolis and Tabitha Hunsucker of the home and 5 grandchildren. Also by a brother; David Hunsucker of Salisbury and a sister, Donna Coker & husband, Donald of China Grove and by his step-father, Charles Harper and mother-in-law, Carol Hinson. The funeral service for Mr. Hunsucker will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, Sep. 27th at Eastwood Baptist Ch. with the Rev. Daniel Honeycutt and Rev. Randle Ritchie officiating. Burial will take place at the National Cemetery in Salisbury. The family will receive friends 6-8:00 P.M. Sunday at Whitley's Funeral Home.
