Robbie Brenda Jackson

Robbie Brenda Freeman Jackson, 54 of Kannapolis passed away on October 8, 2024, peacefully at her home after one of the toughest battles with cancer. Her spirits were always high, and she inspired the many who watched her fight this battle.

She was born on July 15, 1970, in Winston Salem, a daughter of the late Robert Anderson Freeman and Brenda Mae Freeman.

She graduated college with a bachelor’s degree in social work from UNCC in 1993. Robbie loved the beach, gardening and reading books. She was the meaning of beauty and grace, inside and out. She never failed to make everyone around her smile. She was hardly ever serious and was always doing something to be silly. She was the most incredible mommy to her two daughters. Robbie loved her sweet kitty Milo. She was known as “Granny” to her fur grandbabies. Robbie had the purest heart for everyone around her, she was always willing to help whoever, whenever. She trusted in Jesus with all of her heart. She was the glue to our family and will leave an everlasting impact on everyone who was lucky enough to know her.

She is survived by two children, Alyson Jackson, Kennedy Jackson, nephew Kevin Freeman (Keshia), grandniece Adelynn, grandnephew Alex, a multitude of close cousins and loving friends.

A celebration of Life will be 4:30 PM Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation prior from 4:00 to 4:30 PM at Whitley’s Funeral Home.
