Robert Craver

Obituary: Robert E. (Bob) Craver, 81, of Kannapolis passed away on Oct. 1, 2018 at the Tucker Hospice House. He was born on February 11, 1937 in Cabarrus County, a son of the late Rose P. and Manson A. Craver. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and six sisters. He was a graduate of Odell High School, Class of 1955. He was employed by Eastern Airlines for 24 years. He was a member of Midway United Methodist Church. Bob was also a member of the Air National Guard for 8 years. Bob was married to and survived by Betty C. Craver. They had two sons, Mark Craver (Melody) of Rockwell and Tommy Craver (Wendy) of Concord, two grandchildren, Kristin and Ryan who were the joy of his life. He is also survived by a sister, Margie Olive of Wilmington as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, Oct. 5, 2018 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Dale Brooks. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior at Whitley's. We would like to thank the hospitalists of NorthEast Hospital, Dr. Christopher Kelly, the staff of the Pulmonary, ICU and PCCU units for their excellent care.
