Robert Max Haynes, 66, of China Grove, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Atrium Health Cabarrus.
Robert was born August 30, 1958, in Mooresville to Joanne Adams Haynes and the late Max William Haynes.
Robert worked and repaired small engines and was a flagman for go cart racing, Robert was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church where he served in many capacities; leading services, music leader, and sharing God’s word at nursing homes, he loved being a youth camp counselor at Light on the Mountain youth camp in Jefferson. He enjoyed watching sports, LA Rams, Atlanta Braves, and NASCAR races. He will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father Max William Haynes, and a brother Randy Haynes.
Those left to cherish his memory, his wife of 43 Years Donna Lowery Haynes, a son Jensen William Haynes, brother Ricky Haynes, his fur baby Kona, also surviving sister in laws, brother in laws and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Monday April 28, 2025 at Tabernacle Baptist Church with Pastor Paul Moss and Pastor John Melton, burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park
Visitation will be prior to the service from 12-1 PM at the church.
