Robin Trexler

Obituary: Robin Lynn Cagle Trexler, age 55 of 725 Phaniels Church Rd. went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, November 20, 2009 at CMC-NorthEast Med. Center in Concord. Services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, November 22, 2009 at Phaniels Baptist Church in Rockwell, with Rev. Michael Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, at other times they will be at the family home. Robin was born on June 18, 1954 in Concord to the late Paul Everette Cagle and the late Norma Lee Linn Cagle Whitesides. She was a life long area resident, educated in Rowan Co. School system. Robin had beat the Doctors' odds of living many, many times in her life. She said "I thank all my Doctors, but I will go with God's odds" She was at one time a manger with shoe show and she had directed the local Cystic Fibrosis fundraiser "Booger Woods" for 32 years. She was a member at Phaniels Baptist Church and loved her church family and pastor. She also loved Gospel music and the comfort it brought her. Robin was preceded in death by her son, Scott Trexler, who died in 2007. Robin is survived by her husband of 39 years, Wayne Trexler of the home, her son, Travis Trexler and wife Lisa of Mooresville and a grandson, Jaxon. She is also survived by her sisters; Kitty Dayvault of Rockwell and Janet Burr of Ocala, FL and her brother, Matt Cagle of Albemarle.
