Rocky Lamont Linker

Obituary: Rocky Lamont Linker, 60, passed away Thursday morning, June 1, 2017 at the Brian Center of Salisbury, following a period of declining health. Rocky was born September 23, 1956 in Cabarrus County, a son of Mary "Betty" Lou Rogers Linker and the late Billy Ray Linker. Earlier in life, Rocky had been residential painter. He loved his family and enjoyed NASCAR. The family is thankful he no longer suffers but will miss and always love him. In addition to his mother, family members include his brother, Ricky Linker; sister, Tiffany Hayes; his niece Kori Hayes and his nephew Khris Hayes. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Whitley's Funeral Home. Funeral services to remember and celebrate Rocky's life will begin at 2:00 pm at the funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Tim Whittington. A private burial will take place at a later date.
