Rodney Scott Joplin

Obituary: Rodney Scott Joplin, 33, of China Grove died Nov. 10, 2009. He was born November 7, 1976 in Rowan County, the son of Tommy Simmons of China Grove and Joyce Joplin Simmons of China Grove. A graveside service will be 1:00 PM Monday at West Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel in China Grove officiated by Rev. Steve Sprinkle. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Sunday at Whitley's Funeral Home . In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter Felicia Cagle and a sister Stephanie Strickland.
