Roger T. Hall

December 17, 1959 — February 22, 2021

China Grove

Roger Hall, 61, of China Grove, passed away Monday morning, February 22, 2021, at his home, surrounded by love.  He had been in a period of declining health.

Roger was born in California on December 17, 1959, a son of the late Marvin Glen and Polly Hodge Hall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Fonda Hall, his maw-maw and “second mother”, Voncile Hall, and a cousin, Lanette Hughes.

Roger was a proud 1978 graduate of South Rowan High.  A talented general contractor, he was owner and operator of Hall House Enterprises. Roger loved all of his family and the special time spent with them.  He enjoyed loud music, and loved fishing and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycles.  Gone too soon, Roger will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.

Loving family members include his devoted wife of 20 years, Robin Broome Hall; his son, Josh Hall; brothers, Glen “G.P.” Hall (Karen) and Nathan Hall (Katy-Beth); his sister, Judy Ward; special niece and caretaker, April Hall; nephews, Patrick and Tyler Hall; his uncle, Paul Hodge (Sherry), and extended family members.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 27th from 2:00-3:00 pm at Whitley’s Funeral Home.  Memorial funeral services to remember and celebrate Roger’s life will begin at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel, conducted by Hazel Rollins.

The family would like to express their thanks to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County for their love and assistance.
