Roger Dale Herlocker, 64, passed away at his home Tuesday afternoon, August 6, 2019.  Roger had been in declining health, but death was unexpected.

Born September 14, 1954 in Gaston County, he was the son of the late Norman Eugene and Margie Petrea Herlocker.

Roger was a 1972 graduate of Northwest Cabarrus High and was a warehouse manager for Main Line Supply Company in Charlotte, working as long as his health permitted him.  Roger enjoyed spending time with his family, MOPAR racing, fishing, the Baltimore Orioles and had a special love for his dog, “Tickles”. A loving and devoted father, grandfather and friend of many, Roger will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Roger leaves cherished memories to his soul mate and devoted fiancee, Darlene Galloway; his children, Alicia Forrest (Darren), Roger Dale Herlocker, Jr. and Erika Galloway (Antoine Shelby); his wife, Tina Marie Herlocker; his grandchildren, Dylan and Madiline Herlocker, Darren Forrest, JR. and Brittany Forrest and Kylie Herlocker; his sister, Robin H. Marlowe (Richard), and niece, Melissa Lauren Marlowe.

A memorial celebration of life will begin at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 10, 2019, at Cabarrus Baptist Association, 930 Lee-Ann Dr. NE, Concord, NC 28025, conducted by Pastor Corey Alley.

Memorials may be made in Mr. Herlocker’s name to Shriners Hospitals for Children, c/o Donor Relations, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL  33607.
