Ronald Harrington

Obituary: Ronald Clay Harrington, 62, of Lenoir and Kannapolis, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Caldwell County Hospice and Palliative Care following a period of declining health. Ronald was born June 22, 1955 in Cabarrus County, NC a son of the late Charlie Ralph and Juanita Virginia Teeter Harrington. He was a graduate of A.L. Brown High School and retired with 20 years of service from the Water and Sewer Authority of Cabarrus County where he was a power operator. Ronald was of the Baptist Faith. He was an amateur HAM radio operator, a licensed pilot, an avid collector and loved motorcycles. Ronald was to be admired for taking excellent care of his mother while in her declining years. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Mike Hubbard. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday one hour prior to the funeral. He is survived by cousins; Allen Martin, Michael Teeter, Dianne Laxton, Dana Martin, Allison Severt, Timmy Teeter, Barry Laxton, Carrie Laxton and Melissa Laxton. He is also survived by his canine companion Gus. The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Caldwell County Hospice and Palliative Care, 526 Pine Mt.
