Obituary: Ronald Wayne "Ronnie" Wilson, 50, passed away Wednesday morning, December 20, 2017 at Tucker Hospice House. Born April 26, 1967 in Iredell County, he was a son of Mary Catherine Wages Wilson and the late Roy Jessie Wilson. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sisters Lori Wilson Isenhour and Glenda Kay Wilson; his grandfather Bob Henry Wages and grandmother Ordie Goodman Barbee. Ronnie had earlier worked for Cannon Mills and became disabled in 2011. A loving son, father, grandfather and friend of many, Ronnie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm Tuesday, December 26th at Whitley's Funeral Home. Services to remember and celebrate Ronnie's life will begin at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel, conducted by Rev. Chris O'Guin and Chaplain Debbie Kidd. Burial will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park. Family members include his mother, Mary Catherine Wages Daniels; his son, Aaron Gragg (and his mother, Libbie Byers); grandson, Jacexin; his brother Michael, Lee Daniels; aunt, Linda and Junior Anderson, uncles; Robert and Raymond Wages, cousins and extended family members. The family would like to extend their thanks to the Tucker Hospice House staff for the special care, concern and love shown and given to Ronnie during his stay there. Whitley's Funeral Home is serving the Wilson family.
