Obituary: Ronnie Dean Crisco, Sr., 64, of Salisbury, passed away on September 18, 2016 peacefully after an extended illness. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel, Kannapolis, NC. Visitation will be held from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the service. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, NC. Ronnie was born in Iredell County on March 16, 1952. After attending A.L. Brown High School he worked for many years in construction, industrial, and most especially in the auto towing and recovery fields. He loved the freedom of driving, NASCAR racing, and spending time with his family. Ronnie lived with his life partner of 26 years Patty Sue Blackwelder in Salisbury. He is survived by Ms. Blackwelder; his son Ronnie D. Crisco, Jr.(Stephanie); daughter, Jamie Hicks (Robert); his 5 grandchildren children, Carter Dean Crisco, Natalie Ann Crisco, Bryson Blackwelder & companion, Patty, Noah Hicks, and Micah Hicks; his 4 sisters, Millie Cook, Rebecca Kimberlin (Bill), Martha Pless, and Barbara Palmer and her husband Stan; his 5 nieces, Beth Kimberlin, Barbie Kimberlin, Monica Leland, Nickki Pless, and Sandra Honbarger; and his 7 nephews, Brad Kimberlin, Michael Pless, Artie Pless, Todd Cook, Roy Junior Cook, Chad Cook, and Robert Palmer; and the rest of his relatives and friends.
