Rosa Lee Wensil

Obituary: Rosa Lee Wensil, 72, of China Grove, passed away, May 23, 2018 at Carolinas Medical Center-North East. She was born October 29, 1945 in Gaston Co. to the late Archie Menius and Houlcie Melissa Menius. Rosa Lee was a graduate of South Rowan High School; she enjoyed traveling and people, and also enjoyed working many years in the family concession business. She was a loving, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother; she will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by a son Randall Wayne Wensil in 1999. Those left to cherish her memory, her husband of 54 years Lawrence Wensil Jr., a daughter Michelle Wensil, a sister Dorothy Menius Howard, her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 27 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Saturday May 26, at Whitley's Funeral Home.
