Obituary: Roy Jacob Foutz (Jigger), 81, of Kannapolis passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017. He was born March 12, 1936 in Cabarrus County, the son of the late Charles R. Foutz and Dorothy Louise Burleson Foutz. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathaleen Sellers Foutz. Roy had formerly worked at Frank Corriher Meat Processing and Fieldcrest-Cannon Inc for many years. He was a member of Homestead Baptist Church where he enjoyed his church family. Roy enjoyed hunting and fishing in his earlier years. He liked sitting around watching westerns. He especially enjoyed spending time and vacationing with his family. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Whitley's Funeral Home Annex Chapel officiated by Rev. Mitch Thomas. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 PM at Whitley's Funeral Home Annex Chapel. Roy is survived his daughter, Robin Bost Blackwelder (Bobby), grandchildren, Dennis Lee Bost and Samantha Annette Bost Lefler (Ronnie), sisters, Hazel Hopkins and Sarah Ruth Drye and a step-son, Tony Hanes.
