Ruby Lee Peg Bradshaw Boone

Obituary: Mrs. Ruby Lee "Peg" Bradshaw Boone, 79, of 1119 Mason Street and formerly of 909A Skyland St., died at CMC-NorthEast in Concord, NC on Wednesday, March 23, 2011. Mrs. Boone was born September 16, 1931 in Rowan Co., the daughter of the late Jonas Clifford Bradshaw and the late Grace Shue Bradshaw. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Ottis Boone who died August 20, 2008 her sister, Pearl Hudson and 2 great-grandchildren and her daughter in law, Sharon Loan Boone. Ruby was a homemaker and was known as, "Momma Cule Pepper" as her C.B. handle. She was all about her family, especially her grandchildren. The funeral for Mrs. Boone will take place 1:00 P.M., Saturday, March 26, at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Vaudry Tucker and Rev. Rodney Boone. Burial will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove, NC. The family will receive friends from 7-9:00 P.M., Friday, March 25th at Whitley's Funeral Home. At other times the family will be at the residence. She is survived by her son, Mike Boone (Ginger) of Kannapolis and daughter, Patty Burr (Marshall) of Enochville. Also by her grandchildren; Jamie Burr, Jenifer Boone, Amanda Boone, Michael Boone & Matthew Burr and by, 2 step- grandchildren; Hope & Jenifer Kaouse and 5 great grandchildren & 2 step-great-grandchildren.
