Ruby N. Cashion

Obituary: Ruby Nance Cashion, 97, of Kannapolis passed away on Monday, October 20, 2014. She was born September 28, 1917 in Cabarrus County, the daughter of the late A.C. Nance, Sr. and Ada Reece Nance. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Howard Cashion. Ruby retired from Cannon Mills Plant 1 sewing room after 41 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school in her earlier years. She loved to crochet and read. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Carolina Memorial Park officiated by her grandson, Rev. Steve Cashion. She is survived by her son, Larry Cashion, three grandchildren, Holly Cashion Whitehead, Steve Cashion, Trent Wharton and 7 great grandchildren.
