Ruby Elizabeth Morgan Galloway

Obituary: Ruby Elizabeth Morgan Galloway, age 41, died Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at her home.She was born April 29, 1970 in Jacksonville, Florida, the daughter of the late Oscar Wayne Morgan and Linda Stegall Morgan. In earlier years she was a cone winder at Concord Elastics. In later years she became disabled at an early age. Ruby was an active member of Concordia Lutheran Church, China Grove, NC where she a part of church fundraising projects. She loved cake decorating, basket weaving, and collecting Mickey Mouse memorabilia. She was a very supportive Navy wife during her husband's time spent in service.In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Morgan.The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at Concordia Lutheran Church, China Grove, NC officiated by Rev. Ken Reed. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Sunday, July 3, 2011 at Whitley's Funeral Home, Kannapolis, NC.Survivors include her husband of 19 ½ years, Jonathan R. Galloway; a son, Jonathan R. Galloway, Jr. of the home; two brothers, Tony Morgan of Kannapolis, NC and Jerry Morgan of Lugoff, SC; a cousin, Lisa Watson Cline of Kannapolis, NC; two nieces, Samantha Fowler and Jennifer Swink, both of Kannapolis, NC; and her very good friend, Linda Delellis of Kannapolis, NC .Memorials may be made to Concordia Lutheran Church, 185 Concordia Church Road, China Grove, NC 28023.
Visitation: 6-8:00 p.m., Sunday, July 3rd at the funeral home.

Service: 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at Concordia Lutheran Ch.

Interment: Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
