Ruby Perry Montgomery

Obituary: Ruby Perry Montgomery, 86, of Kannapolis died November 16, 2010 at CMC-Main, Charlotte due to an automobile accident. She was born March 27, 1924 in Union County, the daughter of the late Marshall Wayne Perry and Carrie Bryant Perry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Montgomery in 1983. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and Cecil Perry. She had retired from Cannon Mills Co. She was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church where she had been a former choir member and Sunday school secretary. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, Nov. 19, 2010 at Calvary Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Darrell Coble and Rev. Max Smith. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior at church. She is survived by a sister Nell Perry Cashion, two brothers Ralph B. Perry and Ben C. Perry (Reva). Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 703 Buick Street, Kannapolis, NC 28083.
Visitation: The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at Calvary Baptist Church.

Service: 2:00 P.M. Friday, Nov. 19, 2010 at Calvary Baptist Church.

Interment: Carolina Mem. Park.
