Ruby Mae (Mcclamrock) Sechler

Ruby Mae McClamrock Sechler, 97 years old went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on March 5, 2022.  Ruby was born on May 4, 1924 in Cabarrus County to the late Frank and Esther Groff McClamrock.

Ruby was a seamstress throughout her career, retiring many years ago.  She loved to garden, sew, read and listen to Gospel music and especially loved to watch the TV show Gunsmoke, she watched all the episodes multiple times.

Ruby was predeceased by her husband, Baxter Sechler, her daughter, Sondra Funderburk and her brother, Earl McClamrock.  Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Teri J. Overcash and her husband Oscar and Tami S. Craig and her husband Steve; 9 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 12:30 -1:30pm at Risen Life Church with a funeral service to follow at 1:30pm.  Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis.
