Ruby Osborne Tutterow

Obituary: Ruby Osborne Tutterow, 84, of China Grove died at Transitional Health Services in Kannapolis on May 6, 2016 after a period of declining health. Ruby was born on February 9, 1932 in Stanly Co., NC a daughter of the late John R. and Elemer Rowland Osborne. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Tutterow and 7 brothers and sisters. Ruby had worked for most of the local area mills over the years as carder, spinner and/or weaver. She was a member of Landis First Assembly of God Church. She was a hard worker and a good cook. Ruby loved to work in her yard. She loved her family and will be dearly missed. Private graveside service was held at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. Survivors include her daughter, Becky Drake of Stanfield and her son, Tim Tutterow along with 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 2 brothers, Shirley Osborne of Kannapolis and Jack Osborne of Norwood.
