Obituary: Ruth Misuriello Dysart, age 80, died Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Avante of Concord Nursing Center, Concord, NC after over 6 years of extended illness. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Paul Misuriello, Jr. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel, Kannapolis, NC officiated by Rev. Richard Rhoads. A graveside service will be will held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at the funeral home and the next day on Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, B. J. Dysart; four sons, Rev. Paul K. Dysart & wife, Kathy of South Park, PA, Ret. Police Sergeant Mark J. Dysart & wife, Donna of Windsor, CT, Joel R. Dysart & wife, Ann of Johnstown, Ohio, and Rev. Logan B. Dysart & wife, Becky of Oxford, Ohio; a daughter, Jo Anne Elkins of Columbus, OH; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
