Obituary: Ruth Crown Frazier, 87, of Caremoor Retirement Center, Kannapolis, N.C. died at the Retirement Center on Thursday, Nov. 24, 2011.Mrs. Frazier was born on October 7, 1924 in Potomac, MD., the daughter of the late Grover Crown and the late Louise Bolton Crown Emswiler. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Quinton Frazier, Jr.Mrs. Frazier was a school bus driver for the Montgomery County Public Schools where she retired in 1986 after 39 years of service. She was a member of the Rockville Moose Lodge # 1540 for 25 years with the "Women of the Moose".She is survived by her sons: Kenneth Butt and Ronald Butt both of Concord, Harry Butt of Daytona, FL. and Randy Frazier of Kannapolis; by 3 daughters, Ruth Darby of Frederick, MD., Joan Newberry of Gaithersburg, MD. and Betsy Carlin of San Diego, CA.; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and 2 sisters, Louise Butt of Carolina Beach, N.C. and Evelyn De Hart of Gaithersburg, MD.The funeral service will take place at 2:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 28, 2011 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Merrill Perkins. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1-2:30 p.m. before the service.Memorials can be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County 5003 Hospice Ln. Kannapolis, NC 28081.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 1-2:30 p.m. before the service.

Service: The funeral service will take place at 2:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 28, 2011 at Whitleys Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment: Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
