Obituary: Ruth Farrell Lindsay, 83 of 1036 Davis St., Mooresville, NC died at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center on Saturday, March 12, 2011. Ruth was born on February 26, 1928 in Cabarrus County, NC the daughter of the late Tilman Allen Farrell and the late Alma Mae Bradley Farrell. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James B. Lindsay, Sr. and her son, James B. Lindsay, Jr. The funeral for Mrs. Lindsay will be at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at God's Church of Faith in Kannapolis conducted by Rev. Jeff Upright. Her body will lie in state at the church 30 minutes before the service. Burial will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove, NC. The family will receive friends from 7-9:00 P.M. Monday at Whitley's Funeral Home. The remainder to the time they will be at the family home in Mooresville. Survivors include the daughter, Patricia L. Clubb of Mooresville and grandchildren.
