Sadie Huller

Obituary: Sadie Basinger Goodman Huller, 87, went to be with the Lord, Friday, August 12, 2016 at Best of Care Assisted Living. Sadie was born July 25, 1929 in Rowan Co. to the late Daniel Monroe Basinger and Minnie Williams Basinger. Funeral Service will be 12 noon Monday, August 15, at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Ralph Robinette, burial will follow at Salisbury National Cemetery. Visitation will be an hour prior at Whitley's Funeral Home, at other times the family will be at the home of Lois Sechler at 1101 Betty St. Kannapolis, NC. Sadie was a graduate from Faith High School. She worked at Cannon Mills #5 for 35 years as a weaver and instructed weaving. She attended Rodgers Park Baptist Church. Sadie loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Alfred H. Huller and her son Frank Monroe Goodman. Those left to cherish her memory, three daughters, Brenda Shore, Geraldine Wilcox (Bobby), Lois Sechler (Mack) all of Kannapolis, four grandchildren Danny Wilson (Kelly), Kelly A. Romeo (Tony), Johnny Goodman (Shannan), Lisa Donehue, seven great grandchildren and the late Krista Cook, and three great great grandchildren.
