Obituary: Sadie Gryder Lowder, 83, of Kannapolis died at Big Elm Nursing Center on July 22, 2011.Mrs. Lowder was born on Feb. 2, 1928 in Iredell Co. the daughter of the late Doshie Mae Gryder. In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lee Lowder who died in 1982.A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Carolina Memorial Park. Survivors include her two daughters, Judy Shives of Rockwell and Debbie Whisenhunt of Mocksville, NC. Also, a grandson Jason W. Shives of Charleston, SC.
