Sallie Clawson

Obituary: Sallie R. Clawson, 90, passed away Wednesday morning, December 30, 2015 at Transitional Health Services. Sallie was born June 20, 1925 in Rowan County and was a long time member of Bethpage United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Avery Clawson, Jr., in 1989. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 2:00-3:00 pm at Bethpage United Methodist Church. Funeral services to remember and celebrate the life of Mrs. Clawson will begin at 3:00 pm in the church, conducted by Mark Portis and Duane Melton, pastors. Mrs. Clawson will be laid to rest beside her husband in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital, Research Hospital, 6000 Fairview Rd., Suite 305, Charlotte, NC 28210, to Bethpage United Methodist Church, 109 Fellowship Avenue, Kannapolis, NC 28081 or to the donor's choice.
