Sally (Hasslacher) Vickers

Sally Hasslacher Vickers, 59 years old, of Kannapolis, passed away surrounded by her family on September 14, 2023.  Sally was born on September 30, 1963, in Connecticut to Peter and Kathryn Hasslacher.

Sally’s pride and joy was her grandson Carter, who she helped take care of.  She was passionate about the theater, especially community theater where she wrote, produced, directed and performed.  She also loved to volunteer for the elderly by helping with Meals on Wheels.  Sally was the life of the party and never knew a stranger.  She enjoyed making stained glass also in her spare time.

Sally was predeceased by her father, Peter Hasslacher.  Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Douglas Vickers, her daughter, Laura Stiles and her husband Michael, her mother, Kathryn Sommer Hasslacher; her brothers, John Hasslacher and his wife Fran, Charles Hasslacher, Pete Hasslacher, Franz Hasslacher and his wife Sherry; her sisters; Elizabeth Belisle, Deborah Robinson and her husband Ken, Patricia Hasslacher, Amy Hasslacher and Theresa Schumman and her husband Andrew; her grandson, Carter Stiles and her soon to be granddaughter, Reece.
