Samuel Keith Raines

Obituary: Samuel Keith Raines, 59 of Grace Ave., Kannapolis, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2011 at his residence. His death follows a period of declining health for several years. He was born in Concord, NC., on July 19, 1951 and was raised in Kannapolis. He attended AL Brown High School and served in the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his grandmothers Winnie Raines and Eunice Bates. Keith is survived by his mother, Syble Woodward with whom he resided, a daughter, a brother, his "Baby Sister" Nancy and best friend Eddie. He is also survived by a godson, Jessie Cousins. He had many friends who cared for and loved him. He will be missed. Private services were held by the family.
