Sandra Hinson Christenbury

Obituary: - Sandra "Sandi" Hinson Christenbury, 70. Went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at CMC North East Medical Center. Mrs. Christenbury was born April 17, 1943 in Baltimore Maryland to the late Larry B. Hinson and Doris Seaford Hinson. Sandi worked almost 40 years at CMC Northeast Medical Center in the pathology department. She continued to volunteer at the hospital after her retirement and at Bostian Elementary School in China Grove, NC. She also attended Concord First Assembly. Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Lewis Christenbury; two daughters, Beth Kirk (Jon) of Kannapolis and Melissa Hsin (Robert) of Charlotte; four grandchildren, Jordan Kirk, Katie Kirk, Maiya Hsin, and Tristan Hsin; and a sister, Jane Garmon of Kannapolis. A Celebration of Life service will be held 4:00 P.M. Sunday, March 2, 2014 at Concord First Assembly Suite 15 at the Village with the Rev. Steve Hargett officiating.
