Sandra Jane (Sechler) Martin

Sandra Jane Sechler Martin, 73 years old, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 17, 2022.  Sandra was born in Cabarrus County on December 27, 1948 to the late Billy and Blanche Davidson Sechler.

She was a graduate of A.L. Brown High School.  Sandra was a 30+ year employee of Woodrow Wilson Elementary School as a Teacher Assistant before retiring.  She was an active and faithful member of Genesis Baptist Church in China Grove.  Above all, Sandra was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister, she was all about her family and loved to cook.  She loved to vacation at the beach with her family as well.

Sandra was predeceased by her brother, Tim Sechler.  Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Tony Ray Martin; her sons, Scott Martin and his wife Aprille and Bradley Martin; her brother, Jeff Sechler and his wife Terri; her two grandsons, Calin and Colby Martin and her great granddaughter, Lily Martin.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2002 at 2pm at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Sandra’s memory to Genesis Baptist Church,  9710 Old Concord Rd, China Grove, NC 28023.
