Obituary: Sandra Delee Way Mills, 58, of Kannapolis died at her home on Saturday, May 12, 2018. Death was unexpected. Sandra was born on December 8, 1959 in Mecklenburg Co., NC daughter of the late Joseph Warren Way and the late Margaret Virginia Robbins Way. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Susanne Macdonald and a brother, Stephen Way. Sandra enjoyed spending time with her friends, daughter and cat. She never met a stranger and wanted to help all she encountered. In early years of employment, she was a clerk with Belk's department store. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Jessica Roberts and a brother, Scott Way. The service for Sandra will be held at 2:30 pm, Wednesday, May 12th at Whitley's Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Mike Hubbard. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2:30 before the service.
