Sandy Robinette Dunwell

Obituary: Sandy Jewell Robinette Dunwell, 69, of Kannapolis passed on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Tucker Hospice House after a seven year battle with Alzheimer's. No services are scheduled at this time. Sandy was born October 21, 1948 in Kannapolis, the youngest daughter of the late Richard and Gilda Corbin Robinette. In addition to her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by her older sister, Candy R. Aldridge. She was of the Baptist faith. Sandy graduated from A.L. Brown H. S., Class of 1967. She worked for Wal-Mart in San Diego CA and then in Charlotte NC, when she moved back in 2001. She retired from Wal-Mart in 2014 after 18 years of service. Sandy was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her cats and her "adopted" grey hounds and Sandy enjoyed listening to country music. She will be dearly missed. Sandy is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Gary A. Dunwell, of the home, her daughter, Amy Graham Miller of Kannapolis and her son, Jon Richard Miller of San Diego CA Her grandchildren include Jessica Jones (Gage) of San Diego, Tiffany Graham of Greensboro and Kyle Graham of Kannapolis.
