Sarah Avline Stallings Barnette

Obituary: Sarah Avline Stallings Barnette, age 81, of Kannapolis passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Carolina's Medical Center Northeast. Mrs. Barnette was born October 23, 1936 in Cabarrus County the daughter of the late Loma Linker Stallings. She attended Winecoff School and worked at Terry Products as a seamstress until her retirement. She enjoyed fishing, camping and pitching horseshoes. Preceding her in death was her first husband Lyndon Leroy Barnette in 1998 and 2nd husband Edgar Willis Barnette in 2008. Those left to cherish her memories are her children Stacy Guy Barnette (Lynn) of China Grove, Bena Barnette Ridenhour (Larry) of Salisbury, Toby Lee Barnette of Kannapolis, Timothy Eugene Barnette of China Grove, Danny Wayne Barnette of Salisbury, Eddie Dean Barnette of Kannapolis, Debra Barnette Walters of Salisbury and Lynn Alivin Barnette of Salisbury; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great great grandsons. Visitation will be from 1-2:00 PM Thursday, November 30, at Whitley's Funeral Home with service following at 2:00 PM conducted by Rev.
