Scotty Duane Hubbard

Salisbury

Scotty Duane Hubbard, 63, of Salisbury, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.

Scotty was born October 4, 1960 in Texas. He was a cherished son of Betty Cauble Hubbard and the late William Dixon Hubbard. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Doug Hubbard.

Scotty leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. A true outdoorsman at heart, Scotty found solace and joy in the beauty of nature through his beloved pastimes of hunting and fishing. Whether casting a line into the tranquil waters or hunting in the wilderness, he found peace in the great outdoors.

Scotty found excitement in the roar of the engines and the thrill of competition as an avid fan of NASCAR and WrestleMania. His enthusiasm for these sports knew no bounds, and he shared countless memorable moments with friends and family cheering on his favorite drivers and wrestlers.

In addition to his love for sports and the outdoors, Scotty had a soft spot for his furry companions, his pet bunnies, and cats.

Most of all, Scotty loved spending time with his grandchildren and family. He treasured every precious moment spent with them; he will be dearly missed.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Wesley Hubbard (Haleigh) and Erika Hubbard (Jacob); grandchildren, Isiah, Corbynn, Oaklyn,  and Emery; mother, Betty Cauble Hubbard; and sister Vickie Snyder (Wayne); and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove with Rev. Bobby Seymour officiating.
