Shane Randall Box

Obituary: Shane Randall Box, 43, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at CHS-Northeast Medical Center. Born January 25, 1974 in Lake City, FL, he was the son of Randall and Carol Davis Box. Shane was a loyal 14 year employee of McLane Foodservice in Concord, where he was a driver and trainer. Honorably serving his country with the US Army, he was an 88M10,member of the 494th Transport Company of Ft Campbell, KY, the 257th Transport Company, FL Reserve Unit, and had served in Korea and Bosnia. He enjoyed riding horses, motorcycles, spending time with his girls and detailing cars. A loving and devoted husband, father, brother and friend of many, Shane will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Family members left with many cherished memories, in addition to his parents, include his loving wife of 22 years, Christy Cline Box; his daughters Chelsea Shane Box and Morgan Christy Box; his sister Shannon Box Hilderbran and extended family members. The family will receive friends Friday, August 25th from 10:00-12:00 at Enochville Church of God. Funeral services to remember and celebrate Shane's life will begin at 12 noon in the church, conducted by the Rev. Carl Fosdick, Pastor.
