Obituary: Shari Denise Hough Beaver, age 51, slipped her Earthly bonds for all eternity on July 26, 2018. On wings silent as an owl she slipped across the mystic Moon and left unexpectedly. She will be missed by many. Born June 14, 1967 she was the daughter of Wilson R. Hough Jr. and Kay Caudle Hough. She attended Rowan County Schools and received a GED from RCCC. Most of her life was spent as a "home maker" and Mom. Shari was prone to tears. People speculated on whether she was immature or just soft hearted. It doesn't matter now but most thought it was that the latter - that she had an easy, loving heart. She loved animals and opened her heart and home to strays, including the human variety. Shari also loved nature which provided her with a spiritual connection to God. She was well versed in plant identification and a practiced herbalist. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Stacy Glenn Beaver; a daughter, Savannah Kay Beaver; a son, Jessie Glenn Beaver; two grandsons, Alex Sexton and Rico Abreu; a sister, Julie Sexton (Martin); and three nephews, Marty Sexton (Amber); Jamie Sexton (Barbie); and Steven Sexton (Miranda). All reside in Kannapolis except Steven who lives in China Grove. Shari was preceded in death by a younger sister, April Lynn Hough. The family will receive friends and all those that loved Shari on Saturday, August 4th from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Whitley's Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow from 4:00PM - 5:00 PM in Whitley's Chapel. There will be no graveside service as Shari's preference was for cremation.
