Sharon Parker Maxwell

Obituary: Sharon Parker Maxwell, 51, of Landis, North Carolina went home to be with the Lord on August 30, 2017. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm-5:45pm on Saturday, September 2 with funeral services to follow at 6:00 PM at Central Baptist Church located at 1810 Moose Road, Kannapolis, NC 28083. Burial will be 3:00 PM Sunday at Carolina Memorial Park. Arrangements are being handled by Whitley's Funeral Home. Sharon is survived by her husband of 31 years, Timothy Maxwell; her son Brian Maxwell and wife Amanda of Columbus, OH; her son Blake Maxwell and wife Holly of Rockwell, NC; and her three grandchildren Piper, Salem and Jude. Also surviving are her father and mother Curtis and Susie Parker; sister Debbie Yates and husband Joel; sister Becky Blackwelder and husband Chad along with many nieces and nephews. Sharon was an active member of Central Baptist Church. She worked in AWANAS, Youth, and eldering out reach. She truly loved people and it was evident in all aspects of her life. From her early-morning devotional texts to inspirational phone calls and greeting cards. She loved with all she had and was loved by many.
