Sharon Leona Wyatt, 68, of Emily Rd, China Grove, North Carolina, peacefully entered the gates of Heaven at 6:25 am on Monday March 1, 2021, surrounded by her family.

Sharon is survived by her Sister, Carolyn Pope of Rockwell, daughter Tamika Threadgill and son in law RJ Pratt both of the home, niece Jenny Myers and husband Chris of Albermarle, niece Sarah Fincher and Husband Billy of Salisbury, Niece Christina Feuerstein and husband Richard of Salisbury, cousin Linda Harvey and husband Bill of Kannapolis

. Grandchildren Christian Wheeler and Rylee Wheeler of the home. She is also survived by her great nieces and nephews Samantha Goodman, Mack Goodman, Julia Feuerstein, Abbygale Fincher and Harper Fincher and many extended family members that she loved very much.

She is preceded in death by her Father and Mother Walter Lee Wyatt and Loma Griffin Wyatt of Kannapolis, sister Virginia Lee Harvey and nephew Sammy Lee Harvey.

Sharon worked as a Histotechnologist for almost 40 years. She received a Bachelors of Science and Bachelors of Education and Missions from the University of Tennessee. She was such a proud Mamaw to Christian and Rylee and spent the last few years doing all the things they loved.  She had been sick for many years and received meticulous care from so many caring healthcare professionals.

The family would like to extend their love and gratitude to Chrissy Crowell from Bayada of Salisbury, Deborah Reynolds of China Grove and Anita Sanford and Denise Crowder from Carolina Caring.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel Sunday March 7, 2021 at 2PM conducted by Rev. Billy Fincher, Jr.. Flowers may be sent there. At all other times, the family will receive friends at the home in China Grove.
