Sheila Dawn Bailey

Obituary: Sheila Dawn Bonds Bailey, age 56, of Kannapolis died Thursday, September 15, 2016 at her home. Her death was unexpected. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 5:00 PM Saturday, September 24, at Eastwood Baptist Church with Rev. Randall Ritchie officiating. Her family will receive friends at the church following the memorial service. Sheila was born October 24, 1959 in Cabarrus Co., a daughter of the late James H. and Wanda Russell Bonds. She was a life-long area resident and member of Eastwood Baptist. Sheila graduated from South Rowan H.S. in 1977. In earlier years, Sheila sold Real Estate, later she worked for Cannon Mills and as a receptionist for a Dr.'s office. Sheila was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and sister. She will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents, Sheila was preceded in death by a son, Brian Bailey, a granddaughter, Kaitlynn Bailey and a brother, Joey Bonds. She is survived by her daughter, Crystal M. Pope (Dennis) of Concord, her son, Brandon L. Bailey of Kannapolis, five grandchildren, her sister, Sandra Bonds of Davidson and her brother, Jimmy Bonds of Charlotte as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
